As per our previous communications, we are still planning on migrating our system from it's current implementation to one provided by AOL. Unfortunately, it looks like the migration will be delayed, and the new date is tentatively schedule for the end of September. We will make further announcements as we get more clarity on this date.
In the interim, we have had to disable the IM system within Goowy. As a reminder, we recommend that you visit Meebo if you are looking for a comparable web based instant messaging solution.
I will not be continuing on with AOL. However, I would like to archive my existing messages. Is there or will you be providing a way to export our e-mail or make goowy accessible to services such as GMX or gmail to allow import to another e-mail service?

Unfortunately, as we currently do not have an ability for you to retrieve your mail with an external system, we will not be adding it in at this time. Your only options are to migrate to AOL and continue to access your mail from there or to manually forward whatever messages you think are important to a separate account. Apologies that there are no other options...

Will I be able to forward from my goowy/aol account to a gmail account? If yes, how?
Thanks,
Jason

No, unfortunately you won't be able to. At least not in the short term, as AOL does not have this capability at present.

Boa tarde, faz um tempo que tentava me conectar no IM do GOOWY e não conseguia, mas agora vi porquê. Espero que vocês possam resolver logo o problema, gosto muito de seus sistemas e serviços, vocês estão de parabéns. Um abraço.
