We are pleased to announce that we have completed the migration of all user accounts from Goowy to the AOL Mail system. At this point, everyone should be able to log into their accounts directly at
http://goowymail.goowy.com and all of your messages and contacts should be available for you.
For those of you don't have an account, we will be opening up registration for new account creation in the coming weeks... Stay tuned...

Unfortunately AOL doesn't have a way for you to delete your account at this time. You can obviously delete all of your mail and contacts if you like, and tell all of your friends/associates to no longer email you at your goowy.com address...

I now have a new account with zenbe, but still getting mail from "goowy"
my comment/question is....AOL is horrible!
I get SO much spam...at least 25 every morning when i check...also, often I cannot even access my mail...It will say error occurred while retrieving your messages.
I miss Goowy, it was so very cool. Zenbe is ok, but AOL , pardon my language , sux butt...

I liked how my group email messages finally went through unlike with the old Goowy but recently many of my messages are being returned as undeliverable even when I'm replying to a message that was sent to me. I can't figure out how to contact AOL about this problem because I don't have a paying account. Where is customer service???

The transition to AOL has been broken for most of the last week. I have not been able to access my mailbox more than once in the last seven days, and it was intermittent before then, also.
Does anyone at Goowy still have any pull on AOL to look and try to see what's wrong with mailboxes, or is it just that I'm "lucky."

I can't seem to get everything to work,and since I had so much trouble I lost everything.I type in the email and password and it tells me the email address or password is wrong.I use the forget password and put in the email address only it never comes.Can someone please help me? My goowy email is nimuel@goowy.com

Just wanted to say that it's been awhile since I logged into to Goowy so it was quite a shock to see the integration.
(I do congratulate your success, but AOL mail has nothing on the Goowy webtop. Sadly, it's disappointing - and I daresay I'll be moving on... A big thank you though - I really did enjoy the Goowy experience.)

AOL sucks!!! I only signed up with Goowy because of its graphics and interphace. if i wanted AOL email i would have signed up with AOL.

I have 2 accounts in goowy... sadly I am not able to login to anyone of them. I thought I forgot the password, but seeing these comments make me think that this migration to AOL is the culprit. I really liked my goowy account back. If anybody there in goowy support is reading these comments, please do something with our email accounts so we could access them back. The mails I have on my accounts are important. please do something.

HELPPPPPP!!! For some reason I cannot access either my goowy accounts either... I need mainly one of them. If anyone that can help is reading these comments, please get back to me. My MySpace is hooked up to that account, and being unable to access my mail, I can't do the whole email verification thing, or even change my email addy in their system. This is serious... I thought as well I may have forgotten my password, but now I don't think so either. Thx!

Careall - I replied to your email, but in case you didn't get it, unfortunately your accounts were deleted due to inactivity prior to the migration. You'll be able to try to register those accounts again if you like, once AOL opens up registration for the @goowy.com domain.
Ana - what is your goowy id that you want us to investigate for you?

Laura - We don't have a record of a nimuel@goowy.com in our system. As mentioned, we delete accounts that are unused for 180 days, so it was likely your account was deleted. You will be able to register for a new @goowy.com email address through AOL shortly...

Nate - your account does not exist in the system. It must have been deleted after 180 days of inactivity...

I don't think there is currently a way to access this system from your iphone... there are plans to enable this at some point next year, but I don't have more specifics at this time...

I signed up for Goowy mail about two years ago. I told everyone I knew about it and everyone loved it. Then came the time when Goowy announced its merge with AOL. It seemed like there was some potential to better Goowy. Unfortunately, it just seems like AOL took over and there is nothing distinct about having an e-mail account with Goowy. All the benefits of having a Goowy e-mail account are gone. The spam mail is back, just as if I had a regular AOL account or Hotmail or anything like that. I used to have both AOL and Hotmail, but I found Goowy and canceled all my other account sue to my interest in the design and ease of use of Goowy. The constant additions to Goowy were nice too. Honestly, the change to AOL was the worst move I have ever seen a company do. As far as my Goowy account goes, I am done. I am sick of the AOL service, which more than half of the time is not working and the rest of the time is spent going through all the spam that built up while the mail was inaccessible. Too bad for Goowy. I don't see much of a future for the name itself, as all its potential has been lost to the control of AOL. I wish the old Goowy was still around. I don't think I will keep my Goowy account much longer if there are no changes made to make it different from the typical AOL mail. Thanks while it lasted. I may stay with Goowy if someone explains to me that there are benefits to Goowy or that there is some change to come.

am sad about this new change from goowy->aol...its ironic that i found goowy to be a unique service that was better than those offered my othrs..now that is gone..am sorry to hear that.
