A lot of you have been asking for this for quite some time, but we have just recently opened up access to our POP3/IMAP servers and you can now access your Goowy Mail with other clients.
You can read more about how to configure various clients here. For areas where specific POP/IMAP/SMTP servers are referenced, please make sure to use these server addresses:
- For POP3: pop.goowy.com
- For IMAP: imap.goowy.com
- For SMTP: smtp.goowy.com
Hope that helps all of you get to your email in any way that you want!
Which port number should I use if I want to use POP3 to receive mail with gmail?
The only port that responded was port 143 and I get this:
Server returned error: "Missing +OK response upon connecting to the server: * OK IMAP4 ready"
Please and thank you.

Am I glad you finally opened up these accounts for access with other clients. I still need my Goowy mail account because of a podcast and so I had to login to that horrid AOL webmail. All the time I had been wondering why these Goowy accounts had been resticted completely so that even no forwarding was allowed.
This move has been overdue for a long time. Thanx guys.
